With a commitment to quality and a flair for creativity, Maramao Menorca brings together international flavors in a delightful culinary experience.
What sets Maramao apart is its dedication to delivering deliciously crafted tapas that excite the palate. The menu offers a splendid variety of dishes, including standout options like the caprese salad, tuna tartare, and the highly recommended pulpo croquettes that Julia Batycky raves about.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks in part to the hospitable team of staff members hailing from diverse backgrounds, including Verona, Rome, and Barcelona. Jeroen van Son's review exemplifies this camaraderie, noting how the service made him and his party feel welcomed throughout their dining experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick dessert after a day of exploration or settling in for a leisurely dinner, the attentive staff ensures you're well taken care of.
For those who love the outdoors, the charming street-side dining option allows patrons to soak in the vibrant ambiance of Ciutadella while savoring every bite of their meal. As Katalin Horvath suggests, dining outside amidst the historic surroundings adds to the charm, making a meal at Maramao not just about food, but an experience to remember.
In summary, Maramao Menorca invites you to embark on a culinary journey filled with delightful flavors and memorable moments. It's not the cheapest option around, but as many loyal patrons will assure you, the experience is worth every penny. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a cozy dinner, this tapas haven is a must-visit when in Menorca.
“ So good we went back twice. We had researched this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We had dinner one eve without booking, had a 10 minute wait which was fine. We sat on the street and it was really great. Lots of food choices, great service and lovely food. It was so great we decided to go back for lunch the next day and try more food and have the tuna again. highly recommend, it's my favourite tapas restaurant I've been too. Beautiful setting and it's very cute inside the restaurant too but I would recommend sitting outside if you can. It's really charming with all the old buildings around and the bustle of the street. Not the cheapest meal, but really worth every penny. ”
“ Wonderful, authentic, delicious & atmospheric. Advised to reserve, we saw many people turned down or wait in a queue. ”
“ The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation stunningly beautiful, tapas are by far the best and most original in town! Service was warm and kind, a really pleasant experience, nothing to say ”
“ Amazing tapas place with great, satisfying portion sizes. Food is super tasty with new, interesting flavours. Definitely recommend, I was really impressed. ”
“ Had a lovely dinner here!! Staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. We were able to walk-in and get a table inside (suggest making a reso if you want to sit outside). Delicious tapas - caprese salad, tuna tartare, and pulpo croquettes were highlights!! Patatas bravas were also delicious. For dessert I definitely recommend the cheesecake! ”
“ Great experience, delicious food and a very hospitable team that makes you feel very welcome. The ladies who take care of the guest are from Verona, Rome and Barcelona and the kitchen crew is an International mix of Colombia, Senegal, Italy if I’m not mistaking. We liked it so much that we had dinner twice. We even stopped by one night to just get dessert. We loved the place. When you are in Ciutadella, make sure you go here. ”
“ Such a lovely place to have lunch! Waters and waitresses are very sweet and friendly, always ready to make your experience as comfortable as one deserves. Dishes are not huge but taste super yummy. 100% recommended. ”
“ This place is the most innovative tapas bar in Ciutadella. You can find very classic Spanish tapas, but also Italian, French, even Japan inspired plates. We tried smoked buratta, humus with octopus stew, tuna tataki, padron and patatas bravas. They were all super delicious! And the service is amazing, all smiling women with a beautiful energy. There is a patio outside which is great for warm summer nights and also a nice interior decoration. Expect prices to be higher than classic tapas bars but it worths. Cant suggest more. ”
